and Our Purebred Dogs
The Papillon is a very majestic breed enjoying a free
spirit and the curiosity to attempt any challenge that
might reward them with a positive experience and the
praise of their loved one. Heavensent
Papillons are about
versatility... capable of doing many things competently
with the beauty and brains to win. We are located in
the Southeastern part of Virginia (Hampton Roads).
We are about the vision
and the journey to keep climbing the ladder of success
knowing that each step you take gets you higher to
the top. We are about continued education, positive
reinforcement and motivational reward-based training
to achieve that winning aptitude and attitude. We live
the principles of providing a well socialized home
life for our dogs with a healthy attitude for learning.
We live for our dogs and NOT off of them! From my seniors,
young adults to weaning my puppies, they all thrive
on the complete Healthy Pet Product, Inc (HPPI) raw
diet and Solid Gold Bark At The Moon (salmon) and sometimes
Merrick Before Grain (salmon) kibble daily and frozen
HPPI ducknecks once a week. Their favorite treats are
Bravo all natural beef trachea tubes. As a result, we have
been blessed with happy butterfly dogs (and my Token toy
poodle) who enjoy their freedom to run, dig, play and nap
in their six acre yard and country home. They all also
love their motorhome trips.

As a trusted guardian of the
Papillon breed for 14 years, health exams and structural
soundness is a primary focus. In the showring, I am an
advocate and strong supporter of the Bred-By Exhibitor
conformation class having been awarded the coveted American
Kennel Club’s Bred
By Exhibitor Silver Medallion in January 2008 in recognition
of completing five different Champions of Record exclusively
from the BBE breeder-owner-handler class. My first BBE
Champion (Am./Can.
Ch. Heavensent Nike Aire, SOM) was
also breeder-owner-handled to being the AKC #4 Papillon
in 2002 both in breed and all-breed points. I’ve
also groomed and owner-handled my silver toy poodle to
his breed championship (Ch. Broadbay’s Winters
End…call name Token).
